Holiday

It’s officially go time! The holidays are here, so don’t waste another minute before launching your holiday marketing efforts! This week’s Campaigns feature the following ready-made templates: the Win Your Wishlist Template, the Pick a Box Template, the Photo Vote Contest Template, and the Story Contest Template. These templates are a perfect way to jumpstart your ShortStack builds!

Dead Good’s “Win Your Wishlist” Campaign

Wishlists are my favorite way to display products during the holiday season. Dead Good did a great job of implementing our Win Your Wishlist Template. Their holiday giveaway features gifts from the Dead Good “Criminal Gift List,” which users are encouraged to add to their wishlists. What makes it even better is how Dead Good keeps their post-holiday marketing in mind by adding the option for users to subscribe to their email marketing list.IDEA - Add the option for users to view and share their wishlists via your Campaign! This way their friends and loved ones will know exactly what to get them. Win Your Wishlist Template

Nyberg’s “All I Want for Christmas” Sweepstakes

Description: If you’re looking for a way to display the products or services you provide, but wishlists aren’t quite right for your business, then you might like our Pick a Box template. The “All I Want for Christmas” Sweepstakes from Nyberg’s Ace uses the template in a unique way. Once users choose the product they like best, they are entered into a contest to win a $25 Nyberg’s Ace gift card. Each week there’s a new drawing, giving users the incentive to come back again and again to view new products over the holiday season. TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL - Set up your Campaign so users can win the prize they vote for! You can even choose a winner for each prize using our filter settings within the Random Entry Selector [http://goo.gl/b7hi3k].Pick a Box Template

c2c Rail’s “#AnotherYouAtChristmas” Competition

Description: Holiday scenes are a great way to get your users in the spirit of the season. One Campaign that I think does this particularly well is the “#AnotherYouAtChristmas” photo competition from c2c Rail. With the photo contest, c2c Rail encourages users to submit festive photos from locations along the c2c route. Winners are given a shopping spree to help with purchasing gifts for friends and family.INSPIRATION - This type of a contest would also work great for a mall or a community where entrants could submit photos of awesome holiday-themed window displays, or even a getaway contest where users could share reasons they need a break this holiday season! Oshkosh Community Credit Union’s “Nominate a Family in Need” Contest

The holidays are about giving! Nothing feels better than giving folks the chance to do something nice for another person. Why not take a cue from Oshkosh Community Credit Union and create a Campaign similar to their “Nominate a Family in Need” Contest? With their contest, Oshkosh Community Credit Union encourages people to submit stories about families they know who could truly use a bit of love and financial support this holiday season. Visitors to the Campaign are then encouraged to vote on the stories they feel are most deserving of the $300 cash prize. What a great way to brighten someone’s day! Story Contest Template
