March 13, 2017 Campaign Examples: Use Quizzes and Giveaways to Collect Qualified Leads
Have you ever considered using an engaging “Buzzfeed style” quiz to collect qualified leads? How about a sweepstakes to promote a mobile app or a giveaway to encourage folks to check out your products? This Campaign Showcase is all about putting an unexpected twist on a typical lead-collection form.
Platform E’s “The Startup Founder Readiness Test”
With their Startup Founder Readiness Test, Platform E turns a fun quiz into a way for potential business owners to receive useful information. For the “Test,” users must answer a number of questions about their business idea and then Platform E provides an assessment of the start-up’s readiness to get up and running. Along with their results, quiz takers are given tips and links to courses hosted by Platform E.
TRY THIS – Require quiz takers to submit their name and email address in order to see their quiz results. This will help you track the success of your quiz and, at the same time, collect leads.

Slo Happenings’ “SLO Film Festival” Sweepstakes
I really like the strategy SLO Happenings is taking to promote a new mobile app they use to advertise events in the city of San Luis Obispo. SLO Happenings is hosting a sweepstakes where the winner will win a pair of tickets to the SLO Film Festival--one of the events featured on the SLO Happenings mobile app. After the entrant submits their information, a thank you message encourages the user to download the app so they can receive alerts about future events.
TIP - The SLO Happenings sweepstakes uses Container Widgets to group content together. When you click the Contest, Prize, and Enter links at the top of the Campaign, a different Container Widget is set to display. Smart!

Ogilvie Homes’ “All About The Home” Spring Giveaway
Looking to run a sweepstakes, but selling a product or service worth more than what you want to give away? Consider a contest like the Ogilvie Homes’ “All About The Home” Spring Giveaway. Instead of a house (they’re in the real estate business), Ogilvie Homes is giving away gift cards. However, entrants are still encouraged to look at Ogilvie properties, as entrants are required to submit their guess on a blurred household image that can be located in photos on the Ogilvie website.
TRY THIS - If Ogilvie only wanted winners who guessed the household item correctly to win, then they could use our filter feature. This feature allows you to filter eligible winners to entries that have met a criteria of your choosing.
