ShortStack Tips & Tricks

We added some exciting features in March, including a brand new analytics panel, making it easier than ever for you to collect more data from your Campaigns and users.

We’ve also added a variety of features that will help you become a ShortStack ninja and save you some Campaign-building time!

Here are some more details.

New Analytics Panel

We’ve given our analytics panel a facelift, with a brand new, sleek design and the ability to collect more of the valuable data you want from your online followers.

ShortStack’s new and improved analytics allows you to discover real-time spikes in traffic, learn which kinds of campaigns generate views, entries and shares, where most of your traffic comes from and much, much more. All of the information is presented in easy-to-read graphs and diagrams that can be exported into a PDF.

New Template Gallery

We’ve taken our gallery of templates that businesses can use to easily build their Campaigns and made it easier to access and search.

This means you can start building faster.

When you land in the new Template Gallery, you can browse all templates or choose one based on pre-defined categories: contest/promotion, information/display, lead collection.

You also have the ability to “search” for Templates based on keywords such as Instagram, Essay Contest, Real Estate, etc.

If you find a Template you like, you can add it to your Favorites list by clicking the heart above the template’s preview.

The My Templates section will store all of the custom templates, themes, and snippets you create in ShortStack.

Enhanced Features for Adjusting Voting Entries

A variety of businesses share one ShortStack account among many team members.

To make it easy for our users to communicate about changes and settings to Campaigns, we’ve added a voting-feature enhancement that allows team members to specify a reason they’ve adjusted a vote count.

Vote counts are adjusted for a variety of reasons including duplicate entries, spam entries and illegal entries.

You can adjust voting entries, and provide comments to explain why you’ve done so, under the forms & promos section of your Campaign when you’re viewing the entries.

Tips to Help You Take Advantage of ShortStack Features

We want our users to be as educated as possible so they can build whatever kinds of Campaigns they can dream up. Sometimes it can be difficult to learn every feature of a software.

That’s why we’ve added a variety of tips throughout the backend of ShortStack to make you aware of features we think can make your life easier and your Campaign more successful.

Our Tips will come in a variety of forms so keep an eye out for them!

A Better Way to Find Recent Campaigns

If you’re a longstanding ShortStack user, or you just build a lot of marketing Campaigns, chances are your list of Campaigns in the Campaign Manager is growing longer and longer.

Previously, Campaigns were only listed by “most recently edited,” but we’ve made it easier to find the Campaign you’re looking for by providing the ability to organize your Campaigns by name, installed to, publish method, owner and last change.
