Campaign Examples: Low-Stress, High-Impact Holiday Giveaways

The holidays can be a stressful time of year, especially for those of us trying to execute end-of-year marketing plans! This week’s email is full of easy-to-build contests, sweepstakes and giveaways that will allow you more time to focus on other items taking up space on your holiday to-do list….like perfecting your Pumpkin Pie recipe!

SAVEUR Magazine’s “Falk Copper Cookware Giveaway”

The holidays are a busy time of the year for both you and your customers, so keep things simple and hold a sweepstakes where entrants have the chance to win something to help with their holiday meal prep. Take SAVEUR’s “Falk Copper Cookware Giveaway,” for instance. Cooking is an important part of the season, so awarding cookware as a prize is a recipe for success! The prize appeals to SAVEUR’s target market of home cooks, helping SAVEUR to build an email list of people who are interested in their message. What’s even better? Falk USA is a co-sponsor of the Campaign, and they are also collecting new subscribers for their email newsletters. Win-win!

Idea: Set up a form integration! This option automatically sends the information collected from people who opt into your email list via your forms to your email marketing platform. What a great way to save time!

Pet Valu’s “Your Pet, Your Story” Contest

Provide your fans with a way to give thanks for someone or something special in their lives. With their “Your Pet, Your Story” contest, Pet Valu gives pet owners the opportunity to share some love with the shelter they adopted their furry friends from. The winner is given the opportunity to donate a $500 Pet Valu gift card to the shelter of their choice, as well as a gift card to spoil their own pet.

Bonus: This Campaign uses sub tabs to display an entry form on one page of the Campaign and showcase user entries in a gallery on another page.

Grace Removals Group’s “Grace Gives” Grants Program

Looking to do a little good during the holidays? Host a giving Campaign for organizations within your local community! The “Grace Gives” program from Grace Removals Group is a perfect example. They are giving away five $10,000 grants to deserving groups in their area. The groups hoping to win a grant submit applications, which the community then votes on. This is an excellent way to create a little friendly competition and encourage participation by individuals who might not normally find out about your program.

Tip: Put together a similar Campaign quickly by using our Story Contest template.

Le Vian’s “Win A Neopolitan Opal™” Sweepstakes

The holiday season is about giving, so why not treat one lucky fan to something special? Le Vian does a great job of this with their “Win a Neopolitan Opal™” sweepstakes. Not only is the prize awesome, but they are featuring this must-have item from their collection during a November giveaway -- just in time for individuals to add the ring to their holiday wishlists. Now that’s smart!

New Feature Announcement: Worried about spam and robot entries to your contest? Use our new CAPTCHA field! Just add the CAPTCHA field from within the Form Designer under the Standard Fields area and Voila!
