Email Analytics

Email Analytics reports how the emails you send from ShortStack performed, tracking emails sent, open rate, clicks, and unsubscribes, and the whole report can be exported as a PDF. Open the Emails Manager from Manage → Emails, then click the pie chart icon beside the email you want to analyze.

All analytics data can be exported as a PDF for further review.

Getting there

To access Email Analytics:

  1. From the Home, click the Manage option at the top.

  2. Select Emails from the dropdown menu to open the Emails Manager.

  3. Click the pie chart icon to the right of the email you wish to analyze.

Reading analytics

Setting a date range

  1. Click the date range in the top-right corner of the Email Analytics page.

  2. Choose a pre-defined date range or enter a custom range using the provided fields.

  3. Once a date range is set, all data on the page will refresh to display metrics from the selected time period.

Scoreboard

The Scoreboard spans the top of the Email Analytics page and provides a snapshot of your email's performance:

  • Sent: The number of emails sent.

  • Open Rate: The percentage of recipients who opened the email.

  • Clicks: The number of clicks on links within the email.

  • Unsubscribes: The number of recipients who unsubscribed.

Additional information

Below the scoreboard, you will find a graph of emails sent and opened by date. If your email included links, you will also find the Email Clicks data. This displays the URL of the link and how many clicks each link received.

Exporting analytics

To export your Email Analytics as a PDF:

  1. Locate the Export as PDF link directly under the Unsubscribe pane on the Scoreboard.

  2. Click the link to begin the download process automatically.
