Understanding Campaign View and Entry Limits

All plans Last reviewed

Every ShortStack plan includes a monthly page view allowance and an entry storage limit. This article explains how each is defined, what counts toward your limits, and how overages are handled for both monthly and annual plan holders.

Page views

A view is counted each time a visitor loads one of your campaign pages. Loading an embed code on a webpage does not count as a view β€” only when a visitor actually views the campaign itself. Specifically, if you use the Global Embed Code, only when a campaign is actually viewable, such as a pop-up on a specific page path, will it be counted as a view.

Page view limits reset every month in accordance with your billing date. For example, if your billing date is the 5th of the month, your page view count resets on the 5th. Views are tracked across all of your published campaigns.

Plan limits:

  • Free β€” 500 views

  • Startup β€” 25,000 views

  • Build β€” 100,000 views

  • Scale β€” 300,000 views

  • Max β€” 750,000 views

Page view overages

If you exceed your plan's page view limit, you will be charged per 10,000 page views. Overage charges are applied in full increments β€” if you are only 100 views over the limit when your month resets, you will still be charged for the full 10,000-view block.

Overage rates (USD):

  • Free β€” ShortStack branding will appear as an overlay on your campaign.

  • Startup β€” $6.70 per 10,000 views

  • Build β€” $5.50 per 10,000 views

  • Scale β€” $3.60 per 10,000 views

  • Max β€” $2.50 per 10,000 views

Entry storage

Entry Storage refers to any form submission or social media entry associated with your account. This includes imported comments and Instagram posts collected through a ShortStack Feed. Entry limits represent the total number of entries stored in your account β€” this number does not reset each month. All entries can be viewed in the Entries Manager.

Plan limits:

  • Free β€” 100 entries

  • Startup β€” 5,000 entries

  • Build β€” 20,000 entries

  • Scale β€” 60,000 entries

  • Max β€” 150,000 entries

Entry storage overages

If you exceed your plan's entry storage limit, you will be charged per 1,000 additional entries on a monthly basis.

Overage rates (USD):

  • Free β€” Campaigns will stop accepting entries once the limit is reached

  • Startup β€” $3.33 per 1,000 entries

  • Build β€” $2.73 per 1,000 entries

  • Scale β€” $1.78 per 1,000 entries

  • Max β€” $1.50 per 1,000 entries

Annual plan holders

For annual plan subscribers who pay by credit card, Campaign View and Entry Storage usage is measured monthly. Any overage charges are billed to the credit card on file on your billing period anniversary date. For example, if your billing date is October 1st, you will be charged for overages on the 1st of every month.
