Video Data
The Video tab of the Analytics Manager reports four metrics on video engagement, including total plays and unique plays. Reach it by clicking Manage → Analytics, filtering to a campaign and date range, then opening the Video tab.
Getting there
- From the Home Page, click the Manage dropdown at the top and select Analytics.
- Use the Filtering section to select the specific campaign you wish to view.
- Adjust the date range to display data for your desired timeframe.
- Click on the Video tab.
Data Boxes
Video tracking includes four key metrics:
- Plays: Total number of video plays.
- Unique Plays: Total unique video plays, identified by a unique fingerprint (IP address, browser, and device).
Note: To ensure accurate data collection, enable the appropriate fingerprinting setting in the Campaign Settings. Learn more here.
- Play Rate: The percentage of sessions that resulted in video plays. Formula: (Total plays ÷ Total sessions) × 100
Note: This number may exceed 100% if multiple clicks occur per session. - Unique Plays %: The percentage of unique video plays out of total video plays. Formula: (Unique clicks ÷ Total clicks) × 100
Charts & graphs
Below the main metrics, you will find a line graph and a chart.
Plays Summary: This line graph illustrates the number of plays and unique plays that occurred on each day.
You can toggle data series by clicking on the labels. Click again to re-enable them.
Plays Breakdown: This chart breaks down the number of plays each video received.
Graph options
Click the hamburger icon (≡) on the graph to:
- View the graph in full screen
- Print the chart
- Download the data as a CSV file
Exporting data
To export your campaign data:
- Click the Actions dropdown at the top right.
- Select Export PDF.
- A PDF will open, then choose the file name and save location.
