Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication
At ShortStack, your security is a top priority. We provide Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for an added layer of security beyond your account password. 2FA requires using a third-party app that generates a code to access your account after entering your credentials.

Setting up 2FA
- Log in to your ShortStack account.
- From the Home, click your name in the top-right and select Preferences.
- In Username & Password, click Edit and check Enable two-factor authentication.
- Use a compatible authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy) to scan the QR code or enter the secret key.
- Enter the code generated by the app and click Save.
- You'll see Two-factor authentication ENABLED once complete.
Logging in with 2FA
- Go to ShortStack and click Login.
- Enter your email and password.
- Open the authenticator app and find the code.
- Enter the code, click Validate, and access your account.
