List of Facebook Pages is Empty or Missing Pages

If Pages are missing when you import likes or comments, work through four checks: confirm your personal profile is an admin of the Page, make sure you are logged into a personal Facebook account rather than a business one, edit ShortStack's entry under Facebook's Business Integrations settings so all relevant Pages show, then deauthorize and reauthorize ShortStack.

Diagnostic steps

Check admin permissions

Ensure your personal profile is an admin of the Pages. Visit Facebook Pages to verify.

Verify account type

Confirm you're logged into a personal Facebook account, not a business account.

Adjust ShortStack integration settings

  1. Log into Facebook.

  2. Navigate to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Business Integrations.

  3. Edit ShortStack's settings to display all relevant Pages.

Deauthorize and reauthorize ShortStack

  1. Go to Facebook Business Tools Settings.

  2. Locate ShortStack in the list of authorized apps and click the Remove button to confirm.

  3. Log Out of ShortStack and Log Back In

  4. Reauthorize ShortStack

  5. Attempt to import your comments again.

  6. Follow the prompts to grant ShortStack permission as a new user, ensuring all required Pages are selected during the setup.
